Good evening, because where I am it’s already 7.30 pm, 7 hours later than in the UK!
We arrived yesterday evening around 8, 8.30 pm. The journey was extremely long, but probably very worth it! We flew from London Heathrow to Bangkok, which was about 11 hours, and then from Bangkok to Phuket, which was about 1 hour. Everybody was completely exhausted, and the boys were quite jetlegged last night so today was a very laid-back day to recover.
The villa is absolutely stunning. There’s a big ‘infinity-like’ pool with proper places around it to rest or sunbathe. There’s a large living room with a kitchen, and three ‘ensuite’ bedrooms. I love the interior, all very thai/asian like. There’s a very kind girl named Sah who comes to the house every day to clean and sometimes cook!
As I said, we had a very quiet day. We did go to one of the many many beaches, which was a cool beach but probably better for people without (young) kids. Massive waves and lots of swimming/relaxing activities for adults. We’re going to visit loads of other beaches, we might even visit the island/beach where the film ‘The Beach’ with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed!!
Be prepared for masses of photos the next two weeks…
